After Edison and Leola married they lived in Battle Creek, Michigan. They then moved to the Coller farm to care for Edison's father, Lafayette Coller. The farm was near Lee Lake across the road from the Underwood school in Newton Township. They sold the farm and moved to Battle Creek. Leola clerked in stores and Edison was an electrician.
