Edmond Sage Obituary: "His many Tecumseh friends were astounded Friday when word went over the town that big, happy Edmond Sage had yielded to the grim reaper the evening before in Detroit.
About the first of the year, with his chum, Kenneth Pennington, he went to Detroit and found an excellent position, planning to return and take up the spring work with his father, Revilo Sage, on the home farm in Macon. After a few days' illness with influenza, he returned to work, but became worse and pneumonia with heart trouble developed and death soon followed."
He never married.
