John Aughy Deam

  General Notes:

May 28, 1833 in Montgomery County, Ohio. John A. Deem was seeking guardianship of his children: James Argus Deem 11y, Willson Deem 9y, Elizabeth Deem 7y. The children were heirs of Moses Miller, deceased.

Bought land in Wells County, Indiana in November of 1837, August of 1838 and November of 1840. He moved to Indiana in 1839.

John married Elizabeth Miller, daughter of Moses Miller and Christiana Shoemaker, on 16 Sep 1819 in Montgomery County, Ohio. (Elizabeth Miller was born about 1804 in Loudoun County, Virginia, died on 21 Mar 1828 in Montgomery County, Ohio and was buried in Bethel East Cemetery German Reform Church, Bethel Township, Miami County, Ohio.)
