John Hitchcock
John enlisted in Company E, 81st Regular Volunteer Infantry in Lima, Ohio, and was mustered into service on September 12, 1861. He was later detached to the 1st Missouri Battery. He enlisted with his uncle, James Ward, and cousins Wells Ward and James D. Ward. |
