Note that Lucy's maiden name is spelled Hathorn in her obituary below. The obituary also states that her husband, Frank, died in 1939. He actually died in 1937.

Mrs. Lucy C. Leary, 76, resident of Leipsic, died in the Castle Rest Home, Van Wert, at 12:20 Tuesday morning following a long illness.
She was born on June 11, 1880, a daughter of James and Mary Hathorn. She was the widow of Frank C. Leary who died in 1939. A brother, Ray, of Toledo, is the only immediate survivor.
Mrs. Leary was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Leipsic.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock in the Peoples Funeral Home. Rev. Asa Mattern officiated. Burial was made in the West Belmore Cemetery.

Lucy married Franklin Tillden Leary, son of David Edward Leary and Lucinda Jane (Jennie) McCray, on 18 Dec 1919. (Franklin Tillden Leary was born on 23 Jul 1877 in Vaughnsville, Putnam County, Ohio,⁶⁴ died on 3 Nov 1937 in Leipsic, Van Buren Township, Putnam County, Ohio and was buried on 6 Nov 1937 in Belmore Cemetery, Van Buren Township, Putnam County, Ohio.)
