Lydia Jane McConnell

  General Notes:

Though the 1880 United States Census does not list the names of Lydia's parents, it does state that they were both born in Ohio.

According to the 1895 Atlas of Putnam County, L. J. Miller owned 80 acres which adjoined, on the north side, the 80 acres of land owned by Sarah Ann Miller. Sarah's land was at the N. W. corner of the intersection of C and 11A in Liberty Township, Putnam County, Ohio. Sarah had an additional 40 acres at the N. E. corner of the intersection.

Lydia's will mentions a brother named W. J. McConnell.

3. Residence, 1924-1930, Andover, Ashtabula County, Ohio. This is where Lydia J. McConnell lived when her will was created. Address also taken from postmarks.

Lydia married Thomas J. Miller, son of George Miller and Sarah Ann Kitchen, on 21 May 1868 in Putnam County, Ohio. (Thomas J. Miller was born on 21 Oct 1847 in Ohio ⁹⁸ and died before 1928.)
