General Notes:
Sarah Kitchen Miller came from Massillon, Stark County, Ohio and she had a brother Bill who owned a coal mine there. Some of her many brothers moved to Kifferville, Kalida, Cuba and Elm Center, Ohio.
It was shortly after Sarah's death that the rest of the family left the family farm and went their separate ways. John Harvey Miller and his family moved to Michigan. Margaret Miller and her family moved to Oklahoma. Current information suggests the other brothers and sisters stayed in Ohio. Olive Shoemaker, foster daughter, moved to Michigan.
Sarah Ann Kitchen is buried with her husband, George Miller in Old Center Cemetery. Old Center Cemetery is located about 3 miles west of Leipsic. It is on the east side of Road 10 about a quarter mile south of the Road 10 and Township Highway X intersection. The monument is difficult to read, but says: George Miller Born Mar. 8, 1818, Died Feb. 29, 1892. Sarah A. His Wife Born Oct. 26, 1826, Died Jan. 31, 1897.
The Miller family farm was located at the northeast corner of Township Road C and Road 11-A in Putnam County, Ohio.

Sarah married George Miller, son of William G. Miller and Anne Hatcher, on 24 Aug 1844 in Canton, Stark County, Ohio. (George Miller was born on 8 Mar 1818 in Loudoun County, Virginia,92 died on 29 Feb 1892 in Putnam County, Ohio 93 and was buried in Old Center Cemetery, 3 miles west of Leipsic, Ohio on Road 10.)
